THE PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND BETTER BUSINESS

Better Business Begins with a Better Understanding of People.

Your customers. Your team. And most importantly - the human making the decisions (aka YOU).

Praxis House brings unique psychology-informed thinking and commercial strategy together to help wellness founders and leaders identify what is actually holding their business back, make better decisions, and build something that can actually grow with them.

Meet Our Founder

For founders and brands in wellness, wellbeing and human development—and values-aligned businesses beyond them.

What is solving the wrong problem costing your business?

Most wellness founders navigate a unique issue from the get-go. They care so much about what they do - and sometimes they care too much.

The industry is rapidly expanding with reports that the global wellness industry reached a record $6.8 trillion in 2024 and is forecast to expand to nearly $9.8 trillion by 2029.

Staying ahead requires founders to lead from their hearts as well as their heads.

Regardless of what stage of business you are in - the $5k per month solopreneur, or the multi-million dollar enterprise - you will still face the growing pains that come with each new transition and business milestone.

A founder who feels uncertain about sales might invest into another copywriting course when the real issue is an offer that is strategically misaligned to their audience.

A leader who cannot delegate might hire more people when the real issue is a business that still relies on them for every decision.

A founder who keeps changing direction might need a clearer strategy. Or they might need to understand why committing to one direction feels so difficult.

A leader who has plateaued at a certain financial limit might be pouring revenue into an ad strategy when what sits beneath is a deeper psychological block around their relationship with holding money.

The symptoms can look similar. The right response depends on what is causing them.

When you misread the problem, you can spend months refining the wrong solution.

Praxis House helps you see the whole picture before you decide what to do next.

THE PRAXIS APPROACH

Understand the human. Build the business. Lead what you build.

Business advice often starts with what to do. We start by understanding what is happening.

What does the business need strategically?

Which skills or systems are missing?

Where might human behaviour—your own or your team’s—be shaping the result?

From there, we turn insight into decisions you can act on. The aim is a business that works commercially, serves people well, and no longer depends on you carrying every answer alone.

OUR SECTOR SPECIALISM

For people building businesses that help people.

We work across the wellness, wellbeing and human-development space: founders, practitioners, coaches, therapists, specialists, personal brands, wellness products, clinics, retreats, spas, education businesses and wellness-focused hospitality brands.

Some are building their first sustainable business. Others are leading growing teams, refining their model or navigating the demands that come with greater visibility and responsibility.

We also work with founders and organisations outside wellness when there is a strong fit in values and approach. What connects our clients is a desire to build a commercially sound business without losing sight of the humans inside it.

FIND THE RIGHT LEVEL OF SUPPORT

The support should fit the problem.

The goal is better judgment, not more information.

The internet and AI can give you another strategy in seconds. Useful as that can be, more information does not always tell you which advice applies to your business.

Our work helps you:
  • Identify the real constraint before investing in a solution.
  • Make clearer decisions about offers, marketing, money, people and growth.
  • Recognise when a protective pattern is influencing a business choice.
  • Build the skills and systems that reduce unnecessary dependence on you.
  • Lead with more confidence because you understand what you are responding to.

This is how insight becomes useful: you can see the situation more clearly, choose deliberately and follow through.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Business strategy with a deeper understanding of human behaviour.

I’m Nikki, the founder of Praxis House. My work sits at the intersection of psychotherapy, leadership and business strategy.

I’ve spent more than a decade building, running and advising businesses, while also working closely with people on the beliefs, protective patterns and relationships that shape their choices.

That combination changes the questions I ask. When a founder feels stuck, I want to understand the commercial reality and what it is like for the person trying to move through it. Both matter if the advice is going to work in real life.

Praxis House brings that way of thinking into advisory, education and leadership development for businesses that want to grow with greater clarity and care.

Whether you are rethinking an offer, struggling to show up, carrying too much of the business yourself or preparing to lead a team, you do not have to treat every challenge as a call to work harder.

Start with a clearer diagnosis. Then choose the support that fits.
